My collage work explores the gray area between abstraction and familiarity. 
These collages juxtapose texture and typographical fragments with found imagery to elicit familiar feelings from imagery that has lost all context and communicates purely through feeling. 
I'm particularly interested in discovering how few elements are needed to elicit an emotional reaction.
